Dr. Valeria Pruna

I am a specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Microsurgery, with professional training in Romania and France. My medical path was built around the wish to offer patients modern, safe and personalised treatments, combining the precision of reconstructive surgery with the principles of aesthetic surgery.

Training

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara (2008–2014), and subsequently completed part of my residency in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Microsurgery in Cluj-Napoca.

A defining stage in my professional development was my time in France, at CHU Martinique, where between 2020 and 2023 I continued my training and practice in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Microsurgery, first as a resident and later as a specialist.

Experience

During my time in France I carried out complex work, which included both aesthetic surgery of the face and body and reconstructive and oncological surgery. I refined my techniques in body contouring and aesthetic breast surgery, performing procedures such as breast augmentation, mastopexy, breast reduction, abdominoplasty, circumferential body lift (360° abdominoplasty), brachioplasty and cruroplasty.

In parallel, I took an active part in the multidisciplinary management of oncology patients within the Outre-Mer multidisciplinary team meetings (RCP) of the Gustave Roussy Institute, coordinating the surgical component and contributing to treatment strategies and to the care of patients with complex situations.

My experience in France also included the treatment of patients with severe and extensive burns, post-traumatic reconstructive surgery and body contouring surgery after major weight loss, including following bariatric surgery.

Current practice

In my practice I perform aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, including upper and lower blepharoplasty, lip lift, breast augmentation, mastopexy, breast reduction, liposuction, abdominoplasty, circumferential body lift, arm lift and thigh lift.

I complement the surgical approach with minimally invasive aesthetic treatments, such as botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid injections, for facial rejuvenation and harmonisation.
